Marjon Manitius
Born and raised in the Netherlands, Marjon grew up on two wheels—where biking is a way of life and a path to freedom. After moving to the U.S., she was struck by how disconnected cycling felt from daily life and set out to change that.
Marjon co-founded the Brookhaven Bike Alliance, launched the annual Pedal the Parks community ride, and works with Propel ATL to bring cycling education and resources to marginalized communities, including refugee families. As a League Cycling Instructor, she loves helping riders of all ages and backgrounds—whether it’s a child’s first pedal or an adult finding the confidence to commute.
With a background as a global product manager in consumer electronics and outdoor gear, Marjon brings the same clarity, patience, and dedication to every lesson. Off the bike, she’s happiest outdoors—hiking, rowing, or camping under the open sky.
